Ciena was launching their ground-breaking product, WaveLogic 6, as part of a major marketing campaign. The product represented an industry-defining innovation, marking a pivotal moment not just for the company to introduce the product, but also to promote their brand and share their story.

Our approach

We crafted a beautifully shot video that guided viewers through Ciena’s brand journey leading up to the launch of WaveLogic 6. By weaving together filmed, archival, and stock footage, we effectively portrayed Ciena’s unique story of innovation over time. This was edited into a 30-second video to showcase both the brand narrative and serve as evidence of Ciena’s innovative prowess alongside their new product launch.

The outcome

The final video was the hero asset for the marketing campaign, and was used across various channels including online, paid and social media. It not only introduced WaveLogic 6 but also effectively communicated Ciena’s brand story while positioning them ahead of competitors in the industry.
